Example 1:- Co-Operative Units The layout - cars parked on rows of sliding platforms.
The platforms, with the cars parked on them, slide sideways to allow the parker to access a space.Example 4:- Combination Units
The top row moves vertically and the
bottom row slides sideways on rails. Each driver can enter or exit without needing to disturb another driver, and the structure can be erected on solid ground, with no excavation needed! The six diagrams (left - click "Next" to start) illustrate the flexibility of this system. | Example 2:- Co-Operative Units

The second scenario (above and below) involves a restricted space, where two cars need to park where there is only space for one.
Here, one car (blue) drives onto a platform which is then raised, allowing a second car (the red car here) to park underneath. All that the vendor needs to provide for this model, according to Tom McCormack of Double Parking, is "a 13 amp socket"!
Example 3:- Independent Units In another variation on this, one car (blue) drives in, the platform is lowered, allowing the second car (red) to park above. Excavation and engineering works are required together
with 3-Phase power.
This is very suitable for a "New Build" situation or if refurbishment
is being done, and also suitable for indoors or outdoors.

Summary: The Double Parking Stacker can be installed in one or more lots, and is available in a number of distinct types:-
Co-operative Units -
These are placed on existing ground and do not
require excavation or engineering works.
-
Independent Units -
These are suitable for a location where a pit can
be excavated to a depth of approximately 2 metres.
This allows each car to be removed without
disturbing the other car.
-
Moving Platforms -
Where there is no headroom available to put one car
above another. Each car can park and exit independently.
No excavation or engineering work required.
- Combination Units -
Where there is existing headroom of 3.45 metres or more.
Each car can park and exit independently.
No excavation or engineering work required.
