The summer is coming and we hope that you will have a splendid time during the next sunny weeks. But before you will be leaving your office or other workplace I would like to let you know, that I am really looking forward to seeing you all in September in Berlin, Germany. As you all know, our German Parking Association will be hosting the 17th European Parking Association in connection with the exhibition Parken from September 23 to 25, 2015 in the Estrel Convention Center.
We are delighted that the exhibition is already fully booked out – which shows that the significance of the European congress has considerably grown in recent years. The exhibitors are coming not only from Germany but also from other European countries. A list of all exhibitors is available on the website www.epacongress.eu
The scientific programme has meanwhile been finalized and you can expect presentations of high quality and interesting content. The leading motto of the congress „Parking in the world of tomorrow“ will focus on challenges and chances for the parking industry brought about digitalization, parking and urban mobility as well as customer behaviour. A first version is also online on www.epacongress.eu
Before you are going into summer holiday I would personally like to ask you for your support in further promoting the 17th EPA congress and exhibition to your members. For example it would be highly appreciated if you could install a link from your associations’ website to the www.epacongress.eu website connected with the congress logo which you will find in attachment. If you prefer to send printed documents to your members please ask the EPA Secretariat for congress flyers.
Berlin is the fascinating capital of Germany with a long and rich history. The social programme we prepared for the delegates reflects its variety- from the welcome reception in a trendy club location to the German Historic Museum in the center of the city: Berlin is waiting for you. Dear friends, after 23 years being linked to EPA and the European parking branch it is a great pleasure for me to represent the host organisation for the congress of the European Parking Association. The characteristic of our conferences and congresses is not only based upon the technical and professional exchange of knowledge but also on personal encounters.
Let us keep this tradition and look into the future. I am very much looking forward to meeting you in Berlin.
